Chris Jordan (www.seej.net)
Producer, educator, sculptor, visualist; Chris' focus has been on
the fundamental aspects of light and the mechanics of vision. His
work challenges the individual to examine how technology is altering
the solipsistic beliefs of society.
Josh Goldberg (www.goldbergs.com)
Joshua Goldberg is a programmer, teacher and digital artist working
with experimental video. His work uses inappropriate juxtapositions
of technology, ironic deconstruction of copyright issues, frenzied
reactions against 'content' in new media and subliminal reactions
to rapid change. He performs frequently as a live visualist in clubs
and parties across the country as a solo artist, with such DJs as
Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, DJ Collette and Deep Dish, and with
Dan Vatsky, Seej and Giles Hendrix as part of the VJ supergroup 'V4'.
His work '13 Hours of the Discovery Channel' was recently selected
as part of the Total Museum of Contempary Art's retrospective of the
Park 4DTV project in Seoul, South Korea. His freeware custom-made
video mixing software 'dervish' is used by scores of video artists
every day. He has been a regular performer at notable experimental
AV venues as Share, F:T:H and Eyewash, and is an Adjunct Instructor
at the Parsons School of Design MFA Design and Technology Program,
where he teaches realtime multimedia programming techniques for installations
and performance.
